3 Weeks in and Doing Great!!

Well it has been three weeks now and I am doing GREAT if I don't say so myself.

I am down 9 pounds and wish I would have took measurements before I started but I did take them this week before I started Les Mills Combat. It was a rough one last night. Yes you can lose weight during the Holiday Season.. You just have to BURN more!! I have found that I have missed the gym. I have missed Pure Barre...  I enjoying feeling good and even the taste of some of my favorite Christmas things (homemade Reese, fudge, all that good stuff) don't taste as mood after only three weeks.

So What changed in me? I just got Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired!

I hit an all time high and it was just time to make a change.
I have had the same goals for several years and never reached them:
1. Pay off my debt
2. Get Fit and Healthy
3. Spend more time with the Kids
4. Become a Personal Trainer
5. Run more Races or play a sport.

Well 2013 is going to be my year.
I may not pay off all of my debt but I am sure going to make a dent in it. I will get fit and Healthy. I will lose the weight finally and be someone my kids can be proud of. I will spend more time with the kids even if at the time they don't like me because I am dragging them away from the TV, the xbox or the computer. There are so many thing that we can do as a family that does not involve a movie or sitting inside.

Well it is time to get going...
So far in the last three weeks I have joined a group to help me learn how to grow my business.

I have started a women's group on www.myfitnesspal.com  for women that are under 5'3" and I am going to challenge them to meet their goals in 2013 and support each other. No one says we have to go at this alone.

After the New Year I am going to start studying to sit for ACE. I came close to applying for a Pure Barre Instructor Job but I didn't the ladies that I have grown to love so much as they Lift.Tone.Burn..Shake (they forget that one) my body into shape to laugh to hard right now.. Though after last weeks tragedy they could have used it I am sure.... Yeah I love Pure Barre but I am not ready to be an instructor yet. Give me 6 months and the next time they are looking for Ladies who love the Barre I will be the first in line and I will have that Pure Barre Body!

Let's see, What Happened?

Well it seems that I totally got off track again. Blame it on the farm, baseball, life, work anything but really all I have to blame it myself! So here I am making a commitment to get Fit and Healthy in 2013 but I am starting now! Well actually Monday November 26 2012! There is not time like the present!

I will be making Goals.. 31 exactly to hit in 2013 during the Month of December!! We should all know was the #1 Goal will be!!

So this week has consisted of getting back on track eating and exercising...

I am using www.myfitnesspal.com to track my calories for both food intake and exercise!
I have joined the YMCA to do classes, cardio and some weight training and even some training in the pool. Today will be my first day back at Pure Barre and thought I am looking forward to it I am a bit scared..

So why I am blogging this.. I want to help people. I want to see people reach those goals that they want to or have to for health reasons accomplish. I will be trying lots of new exercise classes, using beachbody products (shakes and DVDs) and will be posting my results for the world to follow!

Nothing like a little accountability!

It has been a While

I am back... Well after a year of ups and downs I am back to talk about my Journey and to Refocus!!

Over the past year I have stuck with Pure Barre Off and On, took an adult jazz class, had a boob job, hit the gym and did nothing. I have also working on my waterfowl business and changed jobs at my real job. So why back to the Blog...

On July 5th me and my grandmother took my kids on a vacation to Orlando for 10 days. How much can you cram into 10 days when two of those are driving.. LOTS!! We got home on Saturday 14th. I immediately wanted to look at some of our pictures and oh boy.. one of those pictures hit home.. That is me?? I mean really.. no that can't be.. I have to do something. To top it off my littlest one, OK he is 7 and in his honest stage of life told me mom you are fat... Hello Realization! hit me in the face why don't. So at the very moment I decided I had to do something...

On Monday July 16th I went back to Pure Barre.. oh how I missed the  Burn... LB told me that day that I was only 9 classes away from hitting 100 and being in the "100 tuck club"! WOOH.. oh and by the way you need to hit before next Wednesday July 25th, there is something special coming up... Oh brother.. that means 9 classes in 9 days. OK I can do this.The only problem is I have vowed to take one day off a week and that would be Sunday since Pure Barre is in the middle of the day and I am normally knee or elbow deep in  birds! So I made Monday-Friday! WOOH.... Saturday morning rolled around and oh no I need to get to the farm I have people coming out... so no Pure Barre. So 4 classes left to hit 100... Oh brother.. Here we go..
Monday July 23rd 2 classes done
Tuesday July 24th 6am class done and now I am ready to tackle the 5:30pm class to hit 100!!!!
Oh brother do my Abs and Seat already hurt!! I can do this though

I can honestly say that after 9 classes I can see the changes in my body already!

I love the Barre... Once I have the full "Pure Barre" body I so want to become and instructor and share this method with other women.. Hint Hint if you are reading this..

I am also watching closely what I eat..
Basically
Breakfast: 2-3 Farm fresh eggs hard boiled (off our farm), 4 pieces of turkey bacon
Snack: fruit or yogurt with peanut butter maybe or almond butter
Lunch: Chicken and Veggies or Salad and Chicken (Turkey)
Snack: fruit or yogurt with peanut butter maybe or almond butter
Dinner: Protein, veggies, Shakelogy I love the chocolate!!

I am eating healthy and making the right choices and using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ to track my calories in vs calories out!
